I'll be honest, I fell into this niche by accident. I am really good at resumes and cover letters, and I slay an interview. So I started helping friends, and then friends of friends, and then specialists, managers, and executive directors.
And I gotta say, I love it. I love helping people achieve great things.
Gone are the days where one standard resume is used for every job. You can no longer use the same generic resume or cover letter over and over.
Take it from someone who hosted 150+ interviews in a year. I've seen it all. The applications we received said so much about the candidate—from willing to put in effort, no personalization, and no sparkle, to the WOW! I need to hire this person!
Be the person they want to hire.
Have a resume that shines, reflects your personality, highlights your success, and speaks to the job you're applying for.
Even if you think your creative background doesn't apply to the technical role you're pivoting to, I can assure that you earned valuable experience that will be a benefit to your new role.
You send me your existing resume and the job(s) you're interested in
I review and compare
We meet virtually and discuss, I ask you questions to pull relevant experience from your brain
I zuzh your resume for the role you want based on our conversation
If you need a cover letter, I can work on building you a role-based one, with sections you can change, depending on each job
You land the gig.
My approach adapts to the level of the job. For individual contributors, we may do a light dust & polish. For managers and senior leadership, we may require more in-depth conversation and edits.
A lot of the time, the conversations we have throughout the process will help build your confidence for the interview. You'll realize how much experience and passion you have, and how the new role fits your goals and aspirations perfectly.
But if you still feel nervous, I am happy to offer interview coaching. In the 150+ interviews I hosted in a singular year, I asked some tough questions for a very technical job with high company culture expectations.
I got you.
